what you can expect

Our dynamic is the most important part of our work together. My goal is to create a safe container where you can be any and every version of yourself. I will provide you with honest feedback and ask you to do the same with me. You and I will have different lived experiences, and I hope to honor those differences and acknowledge your identities.

I draw from evidence-based therapeutic modalities that are geared towards:
– approaching your emotions rather than avoiding them
– clarifying what really matters to you
– mending your relationship with different parts of yourself
– connecting with your body
– slowing down and paying attention
– and engaging more fully in your life

Mostly I draw from you because you know so much more about yourself than you may realize.

My practice is affirming, inclusive, and rooted in social justice. I take a non-diet approach and I believe in health at every size.

SERVICES
I offer individual, couples, and family therapy for adults, adolescents, and teens. All sessions are 50 minutes and provided virtually through a secure HIPAA-compliant platform. The typical cadence for sessions is once a week.

ASSESSMENT PROCESS
I provide a free 15-minute phone consultation – we will talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and I will answer all your questions. If you want to start working together, our first few sessions will be assessment-focused so I can gather some history and get a full picture of where you’re at now. From there, we will regularly review your goals and how therapy is working for you.

INSURANCE & FEES
My fee is $250 per session. I am in-network with Aetna and Cigna. I can provide a monthly receipt for you to request reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits. As much as possible, my goal is to make my services accessible; I do not wish for cost to prevent you from seeking healthcare. Please get in touch to talk about options if the cost of therapy is getting in the way of your healing.
